What I can support with:
- Parenting Neurodivergent Children and Young People
Online
As a parent of neurodivergent children, I know that parenting can be full of love and joy, but it can also feel tiring, lonely, and sometimes overwhelming – especially when your child experiences the world in their own unique way. At The Children’s Rooms, I provide a gentle, caring space where you can feel listened to, supported, and never alone as we explore ways for you and your child to thrive.
I bring both professional expertise and the insight of lived experience to my work. My approach incorporates the biological, social and the psychological to help you find ways forward. By listening to your challenges, hopes, and goals, we’ll work together to explore what feels most helpful and identify approaches that suit your family best.
I have extensive experience supporting parents and caregivers of neurodivergent children, helping them navigate both the joys and challenges that come with seeing the world differently. Over four to six sessions, I offer a space where parents can feel heard, understood, and supported while exploring strategies to better support their child’s need.

What I can support with:
- Family members of those who are currently using substances or have historically used alcohol or substances to self-medicate.
In person in Radcliffe, Manchester and Online
Alcohol and substance misuse therapist, Adult, Children and Young People Therapist, Neuro-affirming therapist with lived experience,
Hi. I’m glad you’ve found me and I hope I can be of help to you.
As a trained alcohol and substance misuse therapist, I specialise in supporting family members of those affected by addiction. I understand how complex and often isolating this experience can be, and I offer a compassionate space to explore the impact addiction may have had on you and your relationships.
My awareness and understanding of neurodivergence provides an additional lens to this work, helping me recognise how different ways of thinking, feeling, and processing can shape people’s experiences of addiction and recovery within families.
I’m here to help you feel seen, heard, supported, and empowered, as you make sense of your experiences and find a way forward that feels right for you.

What I can support with:
- Therapeutic Coaching - Parenting Neurodivergent Children and Young People
In-person in Blackburn, Lancashire and Online
Parenting can be joyful and deeply meaningful, but also exhausting, lonely, and full of questions – especially when your child experiences and responds to the world differently. My role is to offer a space where you can feel heard and supported whilst you navigate helpful ways forward in supporting your child. Parents who work with me tell me that they appreciate how I hear about the experiences of the family and work with them to navigate ways forward towards thriving - as a family..
Our work will be rooted in human connection. I bring 10 years counselling experience incorporating a solution focused coaching approach into therapeutic practice. I’ll meet you where you are, listen to your challenges, hopes and aims. What else might be helpful for you to know? Well, II have lived experience of neurodivergence, I am a qualified therapist and coach. I also co-facilitate a training course titled, Working with the Functionality of Neurodivergent Children and Young People; have completed a year-long training in Person-Centred Family Therapy and I’m currently (slowly!) working toward a certificate in Autism Coaching. Still, I continue to learn every day from those I work with, and I’m always listening for what feels most useful and supportive.
